Red – The Primal Pulse, the Rise of Creation
Red, having the longest wavelength of visible light, is the foundational base, the blood, the lowest frequency, the longest wave. The frequency known as red ranges between 400 and 484 terahertz (THz), and its wavelength is approximately 620 to 750 nanometers (nm).
The relationship between the frequency and wavelength of light is governed by the equation:
f = c / λ
where:
- f is the frequency of the light (in hertz),
- λ (lambda) is the wavelength (in meters), and
- c is the speed of light in a vacuum (∼ 3.00 × 108 meters per second).
This is a law of nature, one of God’s laws. Heed it, and make advantage of it, for red, like blood, was designed to flow as the primal pulse, the very rhythm of the poetry of living life. In this way, red is more than a color—it is the very essence of discovery, the base, and the basis, of everything as it springs forth from the primal pump of the adventure of life.
